| History behind the Name “THARAKA MANDIRAM VARNAMAALIKA“ |
To always enchant Raama Naama in each homes, my grandfather Late Sri S.Jayaramadoss of Thiruppanandhal, named his house as “THARAKA MANDIRAM”.
To keep enchanting the name, my grandfather was accompanied by my grandmother Late Sri Janaki Ammal in doing the Sampridhaya Bajans at Thiruppanandhal. This has attracted the people in that area & their Bajans were recognized by the people most of them started to follow them.
After my grandparents the Sampradhaya Bajans, Radhakalyanam & Rukmani Kalyanam were continued by my parents Late Sri A.S.Mani Bhagavathar & Srimt Janbagalakshmi Ammal, along with their sisters Mrs Sungantha Kandaswamy iyer & Sampath Vaidhayanatha Ganapaadigal.

We were also thought about bajans & performed many Bajans, Radhakalayanam’s & Rukmani Kalyanams in many locations throughout India
Still the Sambradhaya Bajans & Radhakalyanam were being carried out in a great way by my brother Sri Muthurama bhagavathar on yearly basis.
Harikatha on various topics like Ramanyanam, Bhagavatham, Skantha puranam, Kalyana series, Bhaktha charithram are also done by me and my sister Radha venkat.
In way of honoring my parents & grandparents & keeping in mind to spread the word of “THARAKA MANDIRAM". We planned to author more new Varnams in Tamil with Swaram & Sahithyams in line on the path to reach the ”THARAKA MANDIRAM” which will be in a simple form for understanding even for the beginners
To create a Maalai (Garland) of Varnams for honoring my previous generations. I have decided to name this trust as “THARAKA MANDIRAM VARNAMAALIKA TRUST“
